Outer beauty is nothing compared to inner beauty. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that interior vehicle detailing requires more effort and time than exterior detailing. However, there is more to interior detailing than meets the eye. It is not enough to simply look good. A dirty interior cabin not only has a bad odor, but also adds to health complications. The inside of a car should provide a hygienic environment with a clean, fresh smell to help create a positive driving experience. This involves deep-cleaning techniques that sanitize upholstery, carpets and surfaces for a germ-free finish. Interior detailing to a high standard requires preparation, hard work and a standardized process.
Dirty air exhaust spreads allergens about the cabin; stain and grit causes switches to fail; and hazy windows can obscure the view of a driver. Interior detailing makes the driver first priority for safety and health. Professional car detailing is the art and the craft of cleaning and restoring a vehicle to like-new condition.
There are different ways to do interior car detailing, all falling under one common goal; to make our customers happy. However, the standard processes include:
Vacuuming
The first step to cleaning the interior of a vehicle includes vacuuming seats, headliners, rear cargo area, trunk and shelf. Difficult areas that cannot be reached using a vacuum, an air compressor can be used.

Steam Cleaning
Steam is used to clean and disinfect carpets, mats and surfaces. Also an effective way to remove sticky gum from CERTAIN surfaces. (DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME)

Leather Trimming
A leather cleaner, is used to clean all leather. Oftentimes leather is then coated with a short term shield to protect against spills and UV damage.

Glass Cleaning
A high grade, streak-free glass cleaner is used to clean the glass and mirrors. It ensures that the glass remains sparkling and the driver’s view is not obstructed.
Perfuming
Finally, to leave the car with a good scent, a deodorant is used in the car. If keys are present, the air freshener is ran through the air ducts. Mekhi Detailing also leaves behind a complimentary "Little Tree" car scent.
Extraction
For deeper than deep stains such as layered coffee or milk, or even years of embedded dirt and grime we have a solution to your problems.

Headliner restoration
Often overlooked, a headliner shapes the entire look of the interior. A clean headliner lets you put your focus where it should be, on the road. Our gentle detailing method ensures of no water damage or sagging fabric.
